Serpro Integrated Services is proud to showcase the successful delivery of a complete fire and security solution for the new Mama’s & Papa’s retail store in Southampton. This project demonstrates our ability to deliver high-quality, fully integrated systems within tight deadlines, while remaining flexible to evolving client requirements.

From initial planning through to final commissioning, our team worked on-site for three weeks, ensuring every element of the installation was completed to the highest standard and ready ahead of the store’s official opening.

Retail fit-out projects often come with changing requirements, and this installation was no exception. Throughout the three-week programme, our engineers worked closely with the client, site managers, and other trades to adapt to ongoing design changes and operational needs.

Intruder Alarm Installation – Orisec System

To protect the premises against unauthorised access, we installed a robust intruder alarm system from Orisec. The system was tailored to the store’s layout, providing reliable detection across all key entry points and vulnerable areas.

Designed with ease of use in mind, the alarm system offers staff a straightforward interface while maintaining high-level security performance.

CCTV Installation – Hikvision High-Definition Surveillance

A comprehensive CCTV system from Hikvision was installed to provide full visibility across the store. High-definition cameras were strategically positioned to maximise coverage, supporting both loss prevention and day-to-day operational monitoring.

The system delivers clear, real-time footage and remote access capabilities, giving the client confidence and control at all times.

Access Control System – Paxton

To manage staff access and secure restricted areas, we implemented a modern access control solution from Paxton. This system allows the client to control who can enter specific areas, enhancing both security and operational efficiency.

As with other elements of the project, the access control system was adjusted during installation to accommodate layout changes, ensuring it remained aligned with the store’s final design.

Fire Alarm Installation – Advanced Panel with Apollo Devices

Fire safety was a critical aspect of this project. We installed a fully compliant fire alarm system featuring a control panel from Advanced, integrated with detection devices from Apollo.

The system was carefully designed to provide early detection and rapid response, ensuring the safety of both customers and staff while meeting all relevant fire safety regulations.

Delivered On Time for Store Opening

Despite the challenges of a fast-paced retail fit-out and ongoing client changes, our team successfully delivered the entire project on time and ready for handover ahead of the store opening.
